With winter now here, I’ve been wearing a lot of turtlenecks, jumpers and coats. Despite the cold, I love winter fashion. Whilst, I tend to wear a lot of neutrals especially for work, I also like incorporating colour into my wardrobe. It can sometimes feel like such a drab especially now that the sun sets so early now.
Bored of beige? Just because it’s not summer doesn’t mean we have to stick to neutrals and black. A splash of colour can brighten your outfit and your winter mood.

I am a huge fan of both Gorman and Dangerfield. These are 2 Australian fashion brands that sort of lean towards alternative fashion. Whilst, a lot of Gorman and Dangerfield lean towards ‘art teacher’, I do find a lot of their pieces stylish and comfortable.
If in doubt, coloured denim always works whether it’s a denim skirt or denim flared trousers like these ones from Dangerfield.
If you’re scared to wear coloured clothes, start small with coloured accessories whether that’s a vibrant or patterned scarf, bag or shoes. Be bold and colourful even during winter fashion! Most importantly, have fun with it! I find adding to my colour allows me to be more confident and bold in my fashion looks.
