For my Australian and New Zealand readers, you may have heard about Mecca and the famous (or infamous) Mecca beauty loop box.
Every quarter, Mecca gives out a free beauty loop box as part of its loyalty program. The contents depends on your level which is based on your yearly spend at Mecca (reviewed annually).
Level 1 – $300 – $599.99 spend per year
Level 2 – $600 – $1199.99 spend per year
Level 3 – $1200+ spend per year

I’ll be showing you what I received in my Level 3 beauty loop box. I picked this up at the George St Mecca Flagship Store in Sydney. Click here to read about what I received in my last beauty loop box.

NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl 1.8g
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray 2.5ml
Bangn Body Firming Lotion 10g
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base 3ml
Just like last time, I will also breakdown the total cost/value of the box. I think it’s a interesting and important metric especially as we are loyal customers and spend a lot of money. I feel like we should feel entitled to some benefits. Considering Mecca is very stingy on sales and stocks a lot of exclusive brands that are different to obtain elsewhere, the least they can do is have the samples be of good value.
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl $43 for 2.4g $32.25
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray $42 for 75ml $1.40
Bangn Body Firming Lotion $48 for 150ml $3.20
Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base $88 for 50ml $5.28
Total Value of Level 3 Beauty Loop Box $42.13
This is actually of a lower value than my previous October 2020 beauty loop box. I’m actually pretty bummed about that. Aside from the NARS velvet matte lip pencil, the samples were actually worth very little.

I do like the NARS velvet matte lip pencils and I owe a lot of the nude shades (Bettina and Bahama are my favourites). I think they are of good quality and are long lasting and non-drying. I’m not a huge fan of reds so I’m gifting this to my mum.
I’m excited to try the Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched eye base because I’ve actually been looking for a hydrating brightening moisturiser for my under eyes before applying makeup.
I’ve been forgetting to hydrate my under-eyes before applying makeup when I’m getting ready whilst at the gym before work and my undereyes have been stinging! If your concealer is stinging or burning, it is because your undereye area is dry. I’m really excited to use this product – all 3ml of it haha.
I’m not too crazy for the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray because I don’t think it’s a product for me. Also- the sample is really tiny. However, I think it’s a really nice product especially if you have difficulty sleeping or just want to feel refreshed or relaxed. I might gift this to someone.
I’m also not too crazy for the Bangn Body Firming Lotion either but this is because I’ve heard mixed reviews for it. It is marketed as a lightweight hydrating cream for face and body that consists of aloe vera, avocado oil, jojoba seed oil and virgin coconut oil.
I’ve heard things like it can improve cellulite and stretch marks which I’m so skeptical of but I’ll give this a shot. It definitely feels like more of a body product rather than a face product. For someone who has oily skin, the coconut oil is scaring me.
Overall, these are products that I think I can get use of. I often find that I do not gravitate towards using my tiny Mecca samples. I think there’s only ever been one product that I’ve actually purchased after trying the sample and it was the Sol De Janiero Bum Bum Cream. The Bangn Body firming lotion reminds me of this as it is also a firming cream so I’ll be interested to compare the two.
It’s definitely a lucky dip scenario where there are multiple possible items for each level which can be quite frustrating if you see a box that is far more superior to yours. However, everyone has different preferences, skin types, etc so it is difficult for Mecca to cater to everyone.
It is what it is haha.
