Everyone wants a good dupe or an affordable product and whilst I love high-end beauty and skincare, I love a good bargain even more.
Amazon Australia kind of sucks to be honest. Way too often, you’ll love a product and then realise it won’t ship to Australia.
The range Amazon offers is extremely limited which sucks. For that reason, I’ve never really been into Amazon. But if you do live in Australia like myself, I’ve done the work and ensured that every product I’ve listed ships to Australia. You’re welcome.
Let’s get into my beauty wishlist.
I actually own this and can not recommend it enough. I decided to buy a nail kit with LED lights included because I have always gone to the nail salon to get my nails and thought it would save me money doing it at home in the long-run.
You get 2 nail polishes here – a base and a top coat so that’s about $5 each and that’s really a price you can’t match anywhere in the market.
It’s a great product for the price point and I found it cured my nails well and it was super long-lasting – just like if I had done them in a professional nail salon.
There are so many good nail polish sets on Amazon which I would highly recommend. The only thing I would say is you may not like all the colours so it’s a personal preference.
One colour I do recommend is white. It’s one of my favourite nail polishes to paint with and it’s such a statement look. I see someone getting either their fingernails or toenails painted white every time I’m at the nail salon.

I am loving gua sha! It is a traditional Chinese healing technique that involves massaging areas of your face to relieve tension and pain and improve blood circulation. I like using it on my under eyes, cheeks and chin/jaw to help decrease puffiness and maybe improve my jawline. However, I am always skeptical but it does feel very nice. I picked mine from Sephora and it was quite expensive so why not get it from Amazon at only a fraction of the price to try it out?
This is on Amazon for less than $20. I paid for mine at Sephora for around $70-80 so I wish I knew this earlier. I want my money back haha.
It comes in both pink and green and has glowing reviews on Amazon.
If you still thought that was expensive, I would highly recommend getting this. The gua sha is probably my favourite out of the set and I love how it glides on my chin/jawline.
For under $10 and the #1 seller in the massage stones category with raving reviews, I can’t think of a better reason to give this a go.
I definitely think if you get the right face brushes for cheap, they definitely can be really good and just as good as more expensive brushes. Some of my most-used brushes are still a staple in my make-up routine.
For example, why would I pay $30 for one face brush from MAC that is really only suitable for one area of my face when I can pay $30 and get an entire set of face brushes. I know which deal I’m taking.
This is such a great deal. The set comes with a full set of brushes as well as a sponge and makeup/brush cleaner. I’ve seen reviews on Amazon and it looks exactly as advertised.
The bristles are soft and there is even a sheet that says what each brush is for. I think this is perfect for beginners in makeup or just people looking for more affordable options.
I reckon this will be a great Christmas stocking filler gift.

I’ve heard of this brand for a while as its known to be a good dupe for Zoeva (I have Zoeva brushes and they are fantastic – LOVE).
Even these brushes remind me of Zoeva (the number of the brush and use for it). There are a mix of natural and synthetic brushes but these are mainly for the eyes. The first set of brushes I recommended are for a full face so they’re definitely a bit more comprehensive.
There are also different colour ranges available including white/rose gold. You get 15 brushes in this set- that is less than $2 a brush.
I need this. This is actually really handy for face masks which I have plenty of and I have never thought of using brushes instead of my fingers. I also think using a brush would be much more effective as well as hygienic.
Since the brushes are made of silicone, they are a lot easier to maintain and wash because there are no hair bristles. Each brush is less than $2 and the design is really cute. I love the pastels. It’s also the #1 seller in the makeup brush set category on Amazon.
I absolutely face masks but I rarely ever use sheet masks and for good reason. I just don’t think they’re very cost-efficient. Sheet masks are one use and I’m just not willing to pay more than $5 for something I’m going to throw away.
However, I’m intrigued by this. It roughly is about $1.80 a mask which isn’t too bad. It says that it is meant to help nourish the skin and reduce pores.
As I mentioned at the beginning, Amazon Australia has a severely limited range compared to other countries. I find that the more well-known brands are overpriced on Amazon or I would purchase it elsewhere.
Hence, I think Amazon is really only useful for dupes. I think it would be great for beauty accessories/tools (think makeup brushes) but I would probably not purchase makeup or skincare from there.
Have you purchased any makeup or skincare products from Amazon? What did you think of it?
