Most of us associate Morphe with the annoying shilling of affiliate codes. Like use code james for 10% off Morphe. And for that reason, I never bothered using Morphe because I find that really obnoxious.
I’ve also heard many claims that Morphe was private labelled which were proven correct. Apparently that doesn’t seem like the case anymore since they’ve rebranded and I believe that because I actually was really pleasantly surprised with the products I tried. // read on to find out.

Morphe Continuous Setting Mist

I was actually recommended this setting spray by a girl at Mecca because I have oily skin that sweats a lot.
I have thoroughly enjoyed using this so far. The mist sprays really fine and is super comfortable and long-lasting. It also makes the skin look smooth and not cakey which is perfect.
It retails for 24 aud which is not very cheap but is still insanely affordable and so much cheaper than products such as the Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray which is my holy grail of makeup sprays.
Morphe Hint Hint Skin Tint

This is probably my favourite out of all the products I tried. As someone who still wants to look fabulous to work but doesn’t want to go in very heavy, I’m really into using tinted moisturisers or lightweight foundations. My shade is hint of almond and for reference I am a NC 25 and other foundations I use include: fenty beauty / 200, nars / punjab and bare minerals / wheat.
This is a beautiful everyday foundation to use and is super easy to build up and is so radiant and glowy. I think this is going to be my staple for summer.
Oh and it’s only 26 aud.
Morphe Wondertint Cheek & Lip Mousse

Morphe describes this as a blush-toned mousse for lips and cheeks and I’m going to have to disagree on this. This is rubbish on the lips. I do like it as a blush. I bought the shade wish and it’s a very pretty pink and with a mousse texture. If you’ve only used powder blushes – this is nice to experiment with.
However, this can also just build to nothing. I found wish in particular a bit too light for my liking but the darker shade fyp was sold out everywhere. I don’t think this would be the best for tanned/dark skin tones.
It also builds to nothing on the lips. It comes across as chalky and it feels really weird. For 18 aud, I still like this product but i definitely don’t think it’s usable on the lips.
Morphe x Maddie Ziegler Dew Bomb Face Gloss Stick

This is an interesting product. Morphe markets this as a translucent highlighting stick for the face. However, to me this is just a balm. I do like the multi-purpose of it and I can and probably will use it as a lip balm.
I do like the dewy effect on my skin but it just looks like I put shiny balm on my face and not a highlighter. It reminds me of a highlighter you would use in an editorial photoshoot – it does look very slick and could totally see this look amazing if used on the eyelids.
However for 18 aud I don’t think you need to cop this. And I don’t even like Maddie Ziegler haha (I watched dance moms briefly but that’s like all I know about her).
Have you used Morphe before? What are your thoughts on the products?
